All the best senior amateur golfers were present at the Interprovincial hosted by Boland Golf Union and played at Hermanus Golf Club over the period of 19 to 22 April, 2010. All the unions were present in this showpiece of senior golf in South Africa.
In the Senior Amateur section, sixteen provincial sides competed.
Three big screen displays tracked all the latest results, draws and logs. Computerized scoring provided immediate updates as the scores of individual players were entered. Displays of team results, positions as well as individual results were all immediately available.
The Main sponsor for the tournament was Indwe Risk Services. The tournament commenced on Sunday, 18th April with the official practice rounds and actual play commenced on Monday, 19 April and continued until Thursday, 22 April.
Central Gauteng won the A division, the B division was won by Eastern Province and Boland won the Super Senior division. The Super Senior team was made up of three of our very own; Roydon Pybus (Club Captain), Billy Boshoff and Hennie Theron with Gordon Broster making up the team.
