Due to the enormous amount of rain that fell overnight over the weekend of the 15 – 17th of November, the course was closed for the entire weekend, resulting in the Walker Bay Classic weekend having to be re-scheduled to the 14th and 15th of December 2013.
The Walker Bay Classic weekend of golf is one of the most sought after tournaments in the Western Cape and is the annual showcase event of the Hermanus Golf Club.As always, the Walker Bay Classic, drawing golfers from all over the country, offers highly competitive golf, lots of fun and awesome prizes.
The magnificently manicured 27-hole Hermanus Golf Course allows us to play all three courses, enabling us to accommodate 90 golfers in the Walker Bay Classic Sundowner on the Friday afternoon, 312 men playing in the Walker Bay Classic on the Saturday and 200 men and ladies playing in the Walker Bay Classic Mixed on the Sunday.
We celebrated the 31st Walker Bay Classic this year.
