Special Rates: Twilight Special

Rate: R340.00 per player (Includes R10.00 Environmental Levy)

Validity Period: 1 April to 30 September

Important Seasonal Notice for Twilight Hours:

The Twilight Special rate does not apply from 1 October to 31 March.

Golfers wishing to play during the twilight period during the summer months must book in advance at standard rates. Bookings are essential due to high demand.

Junior Golf Policy & Playing Guidelines

To ensure safety, course etiquette, and optimal pace of play, junior golfers must follow these playing requirements:

Accompaniment & Playing Matrix

Under 6 Years: No membership or course access permitted.

12 Years & Younger: Must always be accompanied by a responsible adult or caddy

Non-Affiliated Scholars / Juniors: MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult or caddy, regardless of age.

Affiliated Scholars (Ages 13–19, Handicap 13+): Must always be accompanied by a responsible adult or caddy.

Affiliated Scholars (Ages 13–19, Handicap 12 or better): Permitted to play socially without adult accompaniment.

Competition Play: All juniors competing in club events must be accompanied by an adult or caddy.

Additional Junior Rules

Booking Restrictions: Junior members may not book member guests. Exceptional requests require approval from the Golf Operations Manager.

Identification: SAGA cards and Student IDs must be presented at the Pro Shop upon check-in.

Important Conditions

Environmental Levy: All standard green fees exclude a R10.00 Environmental Levy, which directly supports the conservation and sustainable upkeep of our natural course footprint. (Note: The Twilight Special rate of R340.00 already includes this R10.00 levy).

Availability: All tee times are subject to availability. Pre-booking is strongly recommended.

Terms & Conditions: Online Advance Booking Rates are governed by standard online booking terms and conditions.

Booking Cancellation Policy

To ensure fair access to tee times for all members and visitors, Hermanus Golf Club operates the following cancellation policy:

48-hour cancellation policy – Tee time cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled booking.

Online cancellations only – All cancellations must be completed through the online booking portal.

Late cancellations – No refunds or credits will be issued for cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled tee time.

Exceptional circumstances – Refunds or credits may be considered at the Club’s discretion in exceptional circumstances, such as course closure due to adverse weather or genuine illness.
